Phishing is the most common type of cyber attack and involves the sending of fake emails to trick you into providing sensitive data which can be used to commit identity theft and other crimes.
DENIAL-OF-SERVICE
Denial-of-service attacks involve flooding a website with more traffic than it was built to handle which will overload the website’s server and shut it down for all users.
CROSS-SITE SCRIPTING
Cross-site scripting is accomplished by injecting malicious code into a comment or script that could run automatically. XSS attacks can put users’ information at risk without the website owner realizing anything has happened.
SQL INJECTION ATTACK
By leveraging SQL Injection vulnerability, an attacker can bypass a website or application’s authentication process and retrieve the contents of an entire database.
