Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

We all remember the telephone game from middle school, right? No matter how clear and concise the original message is, after it has been passed through enough people the message is never 100% accurate. This can also be the same for service software communicating over a network. With Service-Oriented Architecture any service software application can exchange information with other service software without the need for human interaction.

No more redundancy!

No more refilling and refiling countless forms, sending information to different departments only to have those forms transcribed again and again. SOA makes it easier for networked computers to cooperate and exchange information.
