Partnered Solutions IT Brings New Tech Jobs to Downtown Eugene

July 24, 2017

EUGENE, Ore. - July 24, 2017 - In the seven months following Partnered Solutions IT’s move to downtown Eugene, the local tech company has experienced healthy and substantial growth which has led to the expansion of its workforce.

“July has already been the strongest month in the seven year history of our company,” says Robert Steck, CEO of Partnered Solutions IT. “This has allowed us to bring on three new full-time employees, and we are currently looking to fill four other positions to further support our growth.”

In the last few months, Partnered Solutions IT has hired a Senior Information Security Analyst, a Systems Administrator and a Software Developer. They are also currently trying to fill positions for an IT Account Representative, a Graphic Designer, a Software Developer and an Office Assistant/Copywriter.

In addition to the new hires, Christopher Hayes, formerly the Vice President of Business Development, has been promoted to Chief Strategy Officer. In his new role, Hayes is responsible for capitalizing on the company’s recent success and developing strategies for further expansion through mergers, acquisitions, and continued internal growth.

Hayes has also recently been named Marketing Co-Chair of the Downtown Eugene Merchants, and he sees many similarities between his two new roles. “Both of these jobs are about working to put a positive face on downtown Eugene,” says Hayes. “Partnered Solutions IT wants to be one of the main players leading the charge in revitalizing downtown. We want to change downtown’s image to one of business growth and development, especially in conjunction with the tech sector.”

“For years now, the perception of downtown Eugene has been that it’s unsafe, unclean and unwelcoming,” says Steck. “We believe that the more we are able to show downtown is friendly to business, the more we can change those perceptions.”

Steck credits initiatives by the City of Eugene, the Technology Association of Oregon, the Eugene Chamber of Commerce and the Lane Council of Governments as major factors contributing to a positive downtown environment for businesses.

“We’re very excited about our recent growth and have high hopes for what we can accomplish moving forward,” states Steck.
